On Saturday night, Eric went out and spent over $500.00. What did he spend it on?

The correct answer is C. Even though we have been planning on buying a new tv, and I would love to have a new sewing machine, the money went to a new water heater. Eric was cleaning out the garage and noticed water leaking all over in one corner. The bottom of the water heater had rusted out (and our house is less than 8 years old). Of course the builders did not bother with any kind of drip/leak pan, so it made quite a mess. I came home from running errands to find the kids with the neighbors and Eric gone to Home Depot. I guess I am thankful we could afford to go buy a new water heater and I do like hot water, but I was sad that our tv money went to that.
